After first contact with the firm if one is not offer to you, go elsewhere. Attend this session, and when you leave, you should know how long the case will take to complete, what your chances of winning are, how much your total cost would be should you hire that firm, and what your own responsibilities are related to the lemon law.
5. Ask how to reach the lawyer after hours. No message service with promise of 24-hour return call? Keep looking until you find a firm that has this. You need full support to complete your repair and documentation tasks on time, and you undoubtedly will have questions when the office is closed. Timely answers are essential to winning your case.
6. Are you free to choose any partner in the firm, or will one be assigned to you? The choice should be up to you. You know best what type of lawyer would be the best fit for you. If not offered a choice of attorneys, seek an alternative firm.
